Kenny Burrell ; Luther's Cannonball/Coltrane Project ; Barbara Morrison with Kenny Burrell (gt), Barbara Morrison (vocal), Luther Hughes' Cannonball/Coltrane ; Bruce Babad's " Tribute to Paul Desmond" & the Double G Ninenet.Project . KJazz 88.1 Presents: Jingle Jazz - A special holiday concert to support KJazz at the El Rey Theater, along the Miracle Mile in Los Angeles. Headlining the concert with be Jazz guitar legend Kenny Burrell. Kenny will be performing songs from his Christmas Album as well as cuts from his new CD "Special Requests". Joining him will be Luther Hughes and members of Luther's Cannonball/Coltrane Project. The Cannonball/Coltrane Project will perform selections from their four chart topping CDs. The band features Luther Hughes on bass, Bruce Babad on alto sax, Glenn Tom Luer on tenor sax, Joe Bagg on piano, and Paul Kreibich on drums. Joining the group as a special guest is the great vocalist Barbara Morrison. Also featured will be Bruce Babad's " Tribute to Paul Desmond. And, opening the concert will be the Double G Ninenet.
